Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction

  • Location:Seattle, WA
  • Venue:The Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater
  • Length:06:30 pm – 11:59 pm

Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction with Bryan Cook is returning to its original home, for one night only at the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater. Two years ago, show host and creator Bryan Cook (then a Seattle-based standup comic) founded the show that has since become a sensation at comedy festivals and clubs nationwide. Cook, now based in LA, is bringing the show back to Seattle for the first time since Bumbershoot 2013, for what will likely be the only Seattle performance in 2014.

CEFF features two rounds of comics, writing and performing Erotic Fan Fiction pieces, based upon their whims or audience suggestions. The lineup includes Seattle favorites Derek Sheen, Geoff Lott, Travis Vogt, Brett Hamil, Emmett Montgomery, Monika Nevi, Yogi Paliwal, Shawn Armistead, Douglas Gale, and Evan Morrison.

Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction is held monthly at the Nerdmelt Theater in Los Angeles, tours the country year-round, and is a hit podcast on the Nerdist Network. It has also been featured at Outside Lands Festival (San Francisco), Just For Laughs (Chicago) Bridgetown Comedy Festival (Portland) SF Sketchfest, Noise for the Needy (Seattle) and Riot LA (Los Angeles.)

Here’s a clip from the first Seattle show, featuring Derek Sheen
